Has anyone submitted a rebate request for Adequan this year and if so have you had any issues? I am super frustrated. I’ve submitted them before and it’s been very easy, but I think it is a new rebate processor. They rejected both of my 2024 claims for two different reasons (invalid price range and required item not shown on receipt), even though I bought both items from the same retailer for the same price so the receipts were basically identical other than the dates. The rejections also said the only way I could submit more information for reconsideration was to snail mail (!) them additional documents, without specifying what other documents would be satisfactory. Obviously the goal of that system is to prevent anyone from following up and claiming their rebate.
I called their rebate support and was able to get through to a human eventually by repeating “customer service” and pressing 0 over and over again. He was polite but ultimately very unhelpful. He kept repeating that I needed to send them the receipt. He said it had to be for 7 doses and the receipt didn’t show that (because I bought a single pack of 7 doses). I pointed out that it says “7X5ML” and he just kept saying I needed to send them the receipt, which I already had. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor to try to explain that my receipt already shows 7 doses and there is no other receipt I can send. Of course they weren’t able to connect me to a supervisor, and I’m now waiting for a call-back that will probably never happen.
I am very annoyed. Damned if I’m going to let this go, even if it is only $40. I can’t stand corporate steamrolling.
