I’ve used Adequan I.M. on my old mare very successfully last year in the fall… and wanted to do so again this fall, only to find out it isn’t being sold anymore at all where I live (Germany, Europe). I called my vet friend in a panic, who suggested I try to ship it from the US, but I can’t seem to find a pharmacy willing to ship Rx pharmaceuticals internationally. Maybe someone here has a suggestion for one? I could of course get a vet to write me a receipt… Or maybe there are alternatives to Adequan? I have to say hyaluronic acid (it’s called Legend in the US I think) didn’t work nearly as well…
Legend (Hyaluronate Sodium) and Adequan (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan) are two different products.
Yes, I am aware of that… Both products I have used and were recommended by my vet. Adequan has worked far better, but is unfortunately not being sold here anymore.
