I use Andis clipper blades for horses/livestock. Does anyone know how tight the screws on the blades should be? When when you first get the blades the screws are about as tight as it is possible to get them. It seems to me that will cause rapid overheating, wear, etc. I have found recommendations for blades used in barber shops that the screws be adjusted until it takes 3 pounds of pressure to move the one part of the blade over the other part - the pressure when the comb slides over the cutter. Does anyone have any answers?
