I am currently searching for a new saddle for my pony, who has changed shape significantly in the last few years. (I currently have a County that is too narrow.) My local tack shop has an HDR Equipe that is just barely used for a very reasonable price. A little digging online indicates this should have an adjustable gullet, however, I can’t find anywhere where you could take the saddle apart. Does anyone know if these came in a variety of versions? Is it possible it’s a prototype or a demo that isn’t changeable? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to take this thing apart. FYI, the serial number seems to indicate that it is probably from the 2018-2019 production year.
Interesting! I believe HDR starting selling adjustable trees in the 2010 range, but all of their saddles aren’t adjustable even today. Is it marked with that model name or could it be a different model?

Joiedevie99 you’ve nailed it. I had the wrong model. It’s not the Equipe, but the Cahill. They are similar, but the Cahill is not adjustable.
