Adorable mustang competing at I-1

I have no idea what their scores are but I just thought I would share this really adorable mustang that’s competing at a level I can only dream of one day!

His name is Reno.

Love it! I also like to see some diversity in breeds and types at the upper levels.

I love seeing Mustangs compete well. Is that the same trainer that gets Mustangs that have been passed over too often and are being sold as sale authority (ridiculously cheap to kill buyer intermediates)? Go Reno!

I think you are thinking of Marsha Hartford Sapp, but I think this guy is owned by someone else.

But she’s fun to watch as well. I remember Cobra!

Darling little guy. We all know what a huge accomplishment it is to get to I-1 on a purpose-bred WB, so this is extra special. Extra extra special, even.

Her site has a PSG test from 2019 & a clip of a XC lesson with Denny Emerson.
Reno is a versatile guy!

Cute! My dressage trainer couldn’t get enough of my mustang mare “miniature warmblood” was said a lot. Made me happy!

He’s lovely! Some of these mustangs coming off the BLM lots are pretty classy, substantial horses. There was one at a barn I used to board at that was just to die for. Never going to have a huge extension but so balanced, would have been a piaffe machine if the owners wanted to ride her instead of just keep her as a pet.
