Advertising as Trainer = ammy?

Yeah. I’ve competed against my fair share of them. There are shows where I celebrate the times that I am even in the ribbons and I own a pretty spectacular horse. So, what I’m saying is… it’s probably not you.

And here I am, stressing out trying to figure out if trading some legal work for riding (my own horse, either leased or owned) is a violation of the ammy rule. I didn’t do it, I just charged the trainer my rate and then turned around and sent the money right back to her! Haha. Wanted to be extra super safe.

To the OP, there’s an easy way to report what you saw. USEF has a form for reporting a concern about rule violations. From their website:
Any individual may report misconduct or allegations of a rule violation to USEF. You are encouraged to report the details on this USEF Rule Violation Report Form.

If you’re not a member, perhaps your friend can log on to her USEF membership/account, and download the form for you. It’s under Competitions/Report a Concern.
