Advice on where to look for Apartments in exchange for horse help?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot! (New to COTH)

I’m a full time exercise rider in NY who lives in New Fairfield, CT. I’m looking for a pet friendly place to live that might let me help out on weekends or do night checks for reduced rent. Any advice on where to look for that sort of thing? I’m not from the area so word of mouth is a little difficult.

Yeah, unfortunately I already have a great full time job I’d like to keep so I’d only be available weekends and after 4 and yardandgroom is mostly full time Thanks though!
