Well done AERC! How many years has USEF sat by while the FEI has dragged its feet and tut tutted while UAE endurance has cheated, drugged and abused horses, over and over and over again, and has thus sullied International competition in its wake.

Mr. Kessler, really? Let’s wait until another committee has reached another ineffective and impotent conclusion?

This has been going on for YEARS and those of us in the U.S. had expected that USEF would have had more guts than they’ve shown. The FEI is compromised where endurance “racing” is concerned.

Thank god the endurance riders in the U.S. have risen to the occasion and said “no more”.

AERC members, keep your endurance heritage. Ride and be proud. Well done!!!

As a non-endurance rider, bravo everyone. I read the COTH article and was laughing a bit at the USEF saying they will terminate earlier than the proposed date of end of 2019. “Well if you won’t just shut up and play along, I’m packing my toys and going home!”

Piss on them, the lot of 'em.

After seeing and reading about the horrors of endurance “racing” in the Middle East, I say bravo to the AERC members. The way some of these horses are treated is beyond horrible and I can see why US riders do not want to be associated in any way with them. Too bad the USEF can’t grow a set of balls…
