I am planning on traveling to Africa for a riding Safari in 2018. Any recommendation? This may have been discussed in previous topics but I can not find them.
I can recommend African Horseback Safari in Botswanna. http://www.africanhorseback.com/ I spent 7 nights with them last year with a group of 8 friends and everyone had a blast. We booked directly through them and everything went off without a hitch.
I just booked another riding safari in Kenya with Gordie Church for January of 2018. Unlike African Horseback Safari, they do a mobile safari. So every other day you’re riding out from a new location. Too soon to compare both experiences, but Gordie and his team have been great about answering all our questions and arranging the trip. Just be aware that the northern part of Kenya is experiencing a lot of political instability. So if you decide to travel with Gordie or Offbeat Safari, you might want to stick to the trips in the Masai Mara.
