Got the “In and Around Horse Country” publication today and saw a small box in the back that the Scotties had died! I actually cried. Maybe because I lost my fuzzy terrier around this time last year, but golly, that is sad! Anyone else get all choked up? Maybe this isn’t hunt related, but I enjoy the photos and reports of hunting and liked Aga’s column.
There is an actual article about it earlier on.
It made me sad, too. I loved reading of their take on life.
I just got around to reading my copy recently and saw this–I also teared up. Poor Marion.
Yeah, I got to play with them both of them over the years when I visited Horse Country.
I ended up with my mom’s Shih Tzu’s Kira and Pongo when she passed. I treasured both of the little fur balls and spoiled them rotten for years. Both of them went to sleep in my arms at the vet, Pongo in 2017 and Kira in 2018. I got Kira to 18 years and 2 months. They now reside in my south field, in their little Tupperware caskets snuggled under their favorite blankets with their toys and some treats. My local deer occasionally bed down at their graves…
I missed the notice- what happened? I found the stories so charming and always read them first.
