OK, I must be crazy! Now I’m looking for the icon, and it’s not there!!!
Nor are all the smilie icons to the right that I saw before!..what’s going on?
To use quick reply, you have to activate it. To do that, go to any post in the thread and click the button in the bottom right (Looks like a letter with a quill pen. It is the third button.) Then you can go to the bottom of the page and use quick reply.
In the full reply page, to get the smilies turned on, you must edit your user preferences. Click on User CP (near the top left of any page) and then on the new page click on “Edit Options” from the menu on the left. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to “Miscellaneous Options” and in the drop-down box there choose “Standard Editor” or “Enhanced Interface” then click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.
Then you should have smilies and other options when using full reply.
