Aiden update.. Posted Pictures! Must end the Aiden thread. Aiden is doing excellent. THANK YOU COTH!!! (137) 1/23

(okay, I’m trying to break up my posts so you all can get the info ASAP, but I’m getting a little long here - will try to condense…)

While I was there, Joey got a batch of mail for Aiden handed to him. There were some wonderful surprises! Ethan’sMom, I saw Ethan!!! What a cutie! There were other cards and some small gifts, but I didn’t get all the related COTH ID’s, and I know there was stuff from people outside COTH, too. (whoa - there’s an “outside”? )

Lisa and Joey loved them, and I think it was really nice break in the waiting for them! You can still send cards or thought to them - a good place to send them is the Mason House, becuase they will be there longer than in the hospital, so you can use this address for a long time.

The mailing address there is as follows:

Aiden Hawk
c/o Mason House
1555 Shoup Court
Atlanta, GA 30322

I know they would love cards there to keep for Aiden! Remember, they can’t take him anything but cards and stuffed animals (and Lisa will kill me for saying this, but you can send anything you want except food to the Mason House for Joey and Lisa!!!) Just remember that it’s a house for immuno-suppressed patients, so nothing that will carry germs.

This is the first time I’ve posted on this thread, but I check it every day. I’m crying now as I read about Aiden’s new liver. I’ll say a prayer for both Aiden and for the family who has lost their child.

It has been an honor to get to “know” you and your wonderful family. It has been an honor to contribute the good wishes, curb chain jingles and monetary donations to Aiden’s cause.

You and your family have touched an incredible number of lives. You have shown an immense amount of class under some trying circumstances.

With you as his mother, Aiden need look no further for a role model.

Anyone remember the rest? This was 6th or 5th grade.

I will shake my Xmas tree which is decorated with bells for your family, Sara, and Aiden.

I hope CNN, Today, or somebody get a piece of this wonderful portrait of internet community love and caring. Not for arrogance, but to educate more people re: organ donation.

Me, too, Gail, but I don’t mind saying my knees are getting callouses! Wish we could hear SOMETHING! Keep praying! Starting day #4! no word.

I haven’t the foggiest notion how to do this, but I’m learning!

Thinking of you always, little Aiden. Hope recovery is continuing. Loff your pictures!

FABULOUS! I hope it continues…

I just thought about this and I’m sure it’s already mentioned but I hope that when Aiden gets older he sees all this and realizes how many people were on his side! What an awesome story! He is truly lucky.

You need something, you got it… just let me know. I go to Emory and I can hop down and bring you whatever you need, I’ll just stop by the grocery store and pick it up. It’s the least I can do.

“The Son Dee Times”

Last night I did something I haven’t really done in a long time. I prayed. I mean, I really prayed, not just a quick chat with God. I told Him that I had faith in His plan, I know that He does things that may have no logic to us mere humans. I asked Him to watch over our Coth baby, and that maybe it was selfish of me, but I really want Aiden here with us for a long time.

Lisa, Joey, Aiden, you are in my thoughts every day. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you. I’ve never met you, but know that I love you all.

God bless you Aiden! Sleep sweetly and peacefully while angels watch over you.

May God give the Hawk family and the family of the deceased child strength. Amen.

I’m praying for you all.

Jingle Jangle!!! And a kiss!
