Aiden update.. Posted Pictures! Must end the Aiden thread. Aiden is doing excellent. THANK YOU COTH!!! (137) 1/23

Breathing a sigh of relief in Toronto!

I find myself checking in here many times a day with a mixture of hope and dread at the same time. Hope that the news is good, and dread that it may not be. Every setback has rocked my heart, and the triumphs have made it soar.

I can only imagine what this emotional roller-coaster ride must be like for you, Lisa and Joey. You must be exhausted, numb, excited, scared, and just plain drained by it all.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing all of us to share this with you. It is, indeed, a rare privilege.

Happy New Year!

May it bring you peace, love, and happiness!

Added best wishes for the always overlooked hospital pharmacists and techs who will be preparing the vital meds needed by Aiden.

Good Morning cutie. Hope you had another totally uneventful night and that breathing tube is on it’s way out. Can’t wait to see all of you again!

Lisa,

There is an hysterical article in today’s Atlanta Journal/Constitution on the front page of the “living”
section…

Photos of screaming terrified babies on Santa’s lap!

Aiden looks very calm and cool!!

Merry Christmas to all…and Peace on Earth.

I am sooo happy to hear this news!!! It definitely brought tears to my eyes! MERRY CHRISTMAS INDEED!!!

Clankety-clank!! Fight, little Aiden!

xoxo

I’m sure that is for the best so he does not have to wait another 3 weeks for the rest of the testing on Sara’s liver. This will be a Christmas, none of us will ever forget! Prayers to baby Aiden!!!
I also, would like to extend my thoughts and prayers for the very brave family that donated their babies liver so Aiden could have a chance at life!!!

Fight hard little guy! Would that we could all do your fighting for you…

You must be deleriously happy. I can’t begin to imagine.

All my best hopes, dreams, wishes to Aiden and to you, Lisa and Joey. I’m so, so happy for you all!

Come on Aiden. You can do it!

I haven’t checked this BB until today and only logged in to check up on Aiden, Knowonder, et al and I couldn’ t believe how quickly things have moved over the last day and a half. God does move in very mysterious ways.

I feel terrible for the donor family’s anguish but hope they can draw tremendous strength in what their gift is giving Aiden.

The Hawks - praying more than ever for Aiden’s new liver to kick in; he’ll be up and about in no time. Praying for God to grant you the strength you need to get through this last part - what a journey you have all been on so far.

Knowonder - thanking God that He blessed you with such courage to be Aiden’s living liver donor. I am speechless with your kind act.

That you are all together in the hospital right now and that Lisa was in Atlanta to begin with, well that makes my faith in God that much more unwavering. The Lord knows what He is doing. I am sure

And in the end, the love of horses is what brought us all together to the BB and to this thread, to help pray and fight for a little boy named Aiden.

I want to call but I won’t because the phone line must be burning up by now. I will check back tonight. Love you guys so much.XXO

(Jeez, huge lump in my throat and blurry tear filled eyes)

What great news! Go Aiden go! Any new photos?!

AHEM!!!
I do believe Aiden Lionheart has gained his new life here, so it would only make sense for his debut to be here in GEORGIA at the GIHP! We claim him as ours, so I think us GA bbers can come up with a pretty cute pony for his debut. Now, he can go up to VA, just later on, of course!!

and still jingling extra loud!!

T’aint’ life just grand? So thrilled to hear the little one is coming back to his old self…

My little Natie (age 2) calls me " Mommy-Ma" and he bought me a Nomination bracelet with “Mommy-Ma” and a little horse charm for Christmas. I’m jingling it and praying for Aiden to overcome this hurdle as he has so many others.

Time to break out the waterproof mascara one more time!

Lisa, have a wonderful, wonderful evening together as a family once again. I’ll bet you’ll never forget it – just like you haven’t forgotten coming home from the hospital with that little guy when he was born.

Okay…now I have to go hunt down some Kleenex!!

There is nothing in this world that sounds so good as a child laughing! They have such a twinkle in their eye when they laugh! They say that a child’s laugh is what heaven sounds like. I am so so so so happy for you and Joey and for Aiden! Your post made me cry Lisa. I can’t wait until you bring him home for good!
