The Original Comfort I’m looking at does not have any letters indicating tree size stamped on the flap. It has the seat size and serial number only. Does this mean it’s a medium by default? I’ve only ever seen Original Comforts stamped MW and W.
Or perhaps there is an online database where I can plug in the serial number?

I’ve had good luck emailing serial numbers to Albion to get details. They will at least be able to tell you what size it was new.

Yes, Albion is great about responding to requests for saddle details using a serial number.
Keep in mind their tree with tend to run very generous. So a medium is often more like a medium wide and a regular saddle.
thank you for the info! My favorite saddle ever was an OC but the MW was just too wide for any of my horses so I sadly sold it. hoping this one will be a better fit…
