Have been riding in a friend’s Albion Kontact and love it. I want to buy my own but am seeing mostly ones with velcro blocks. These seem like they would fall off. Does anyone hunt in an Albion with velcro blocks? What is the difference between the Kontrol and the Kontact and Jumper 5000 saddle?
My boss where I am a WS has an Albion Dressage saddle with Velcro blocks. They stay on very well… in fact they are REALLY hard to get off if, for whatever reason, you want to remove them.
Have not hunted in an Albion, but I’ve hunted in other saddles with velcro blocks and had no issues. They are very sticky and pretty hard to move even when you want to!
I had a different saddle w/ Velcro blocks and when I got them where I wanted them, the saddle fitter put a little screw in each one so I didn’t have to worry.
I have an Albion Kontrol with the Velcro blocks. I used to hunt in it and had no problems with the blocks. As someone else said, it is heavy duty Velcro and hard to move them! This thread reminds me that I need to find that saddle a new home!

I had a Prestige Red Fox with the Velcro. Very hard to move them.
I have a BC wexford with velcro blocks, they never move!
