When this thread popped up previously, I binged and got the whole series. Now when I see tall thin guys riding over tough jumper courses on TV, I’m like, “that could be Simon!” He almost seems real to me. So glad you have the next one in the series out now, I’ll run and grab it today!
Ah, I’m so glad you enjoyed it and hope you like Ainsley’s perspective as well! And yes, I definitely see Simon’s shadow in those leggy guys with impossibly long arms who seem to have been naturally designed to perfectly fit a horse–at least narrow-barreled lean jumpers and eventers!
I downloaded this the other day with Kindle Unlimited. Looking forward to reading it!
I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Ainsley!
This is a great Idea. I have two books that are free on Kindle Unlimited if you have a subscription. I’ll post them separately so to avoid a long email. I hope you enjoy them. I’d love a review if you have time.
The first is Remember Not
She believes her rehabilitated show jumper is the ticket to the top for financial stability for herself and her daughter, but someone is out to kill the horse.
Single mom, Rylie Davis believes Eskador, her formerly abused show jumper, is her ticket to the top. Winning the $40,000 Pandora Grand Prix is not only the culmination of six years of rehab for the horse, but it proves Rylie’s ability as a horse trainer, which will provide badly needed stability and financial security for herself and her daughter. What she doesn’t know is the publicity Eskador receives for the big win puts him in the sights of a killer.
Jason Hughes has finally found the horse trainer he needs to take his breeding program to the next level, only he sees Rylie as more than a potential employee. Poor judgement on his part ruins his credibility with Rylie. He’ll do whatever it takes to gain her trust, including protecting Eskador, the horse that humiliated him.
When someone rips what she cherishes most from her hands, will Rylie trust Jason to help her?
Here is the second book, Last Wish. It’s also free on Kindle Unlimited and I’d love a review. (Please and thank you!) And thanks for this opportunity.
Last Wish
June Cowan made a mistake that cost her a competitive career with horses. Now she has her hands full with Hoof ‘n Woof Cafe, a food truck she takes to horse shows, her horse Belles, and two Golden Retrievers, until Michael Bainbridge comes back, and her world turns upside down. If you love horses and dogs, you’ll enjoy the first book in the clean Hoof ‘n Woof romance series.
Bumping an old thread–I swear I’m not a zombie–to say that Book 11 of the Fortune’s Fool series, Fit and Full of Running, is now live. Not free, but $3.99, which, given how long ago this thread started may be the equivalent to free, all those years ago!
This is excellent news.
I’m so glad to hear this!
This thread looks like it is over ten years old! But I’ll go ahead and share one for legal & business tips for horse businesses. Includes sample contracts.
Not free, but at a relatively bargain price of $3.99, the latest installment of the Fortune’s Fool series is now available. (Given how old this thread is, alas, that’s probably about keeping with the rate of inflation, but still pretty cheap for an eBook.)
Just downloaded it…THANK YOU!
Ah, I hope you enjoy it! (As does Simon!)
Got it! It’s free for me with a Kindle Unlimited membership - thanks!
@Moderator_1 can you unpin this thread and the Secret Santa thread so more active threads show at the top ont the menu ?
Thanks, I just learned this!
Bumping this thread as we head into the holiday season, and many authors will be offering their Kindle books at a discount.
Including me! Born Broke, is the story of down-on-her-luck hunter princess Ainsley Ashcroft, forced to work at a trail riding barn to make ends meet. But one of the horses she’s working with is not what he seems. Can this diamond in the rough turn her luck around? On sale for only .99 for a limited time in the US and UK Kindle stores.
Yay! I just started rereading your series and realized I am a couple of books behind, which is like gold to me!
