I simply want to share information about the fundraiser for 15 year old jumper rider Alexis Halbert who was severely injured in a fall
at Tryon on July 18. Her horse did not survive.

I hope she gets as much attention as Kevin Babington. As many have seen it’s a long uphill climb.

Since you mentioned the Babingtons, I saw on Facebook that they had reached out to the family, so I would assume they will be a valuable resource and will pay forward the kindness they have received if attention is needed. My heart goes out to the family, and I pray for a full recovery for Alexis. So traumatic to not only be seriously injured but also lose a beloved horse.

She is in my thoughts, and I give my best wishes to her. What happened was truly horrific, and I hope that she has a speedy recovery. She is extremely resilient. As difficult as the recovery will be, I have faith that she can get through this. â¤ï¸ I will make sure to share the link with everyone I know as well.
