What will they do with it all? There has to be tons left over, since they didn’t ask your size til you showed up? Will they be offering it online for sale or donating it to charity or what??
Maybe they gave the extras to the Volunteers for doing such a great job at WEG or possibly employees of Alltech, USEF, USEA, etc.
I did like those powder blue Ariat Jackets that the volunteers were wearing (other colors I think were yellow and red). I was hoping they would be selling something like that at the Ariat Tent…but alas no. Heck I could not even find the Ariat Vechta WEG jacket anywhere (just Mens size XXL). Much was gone by the end of XC day.
I didn’t think they had much of any left over. I went one of the first days to pick up my uniform but some of the volunteers in my group when later on and there were no more of the dark blue in their size.

Out of curiousity where did you find the Vechta jacket in Mens XXL? They were sold out by the time we got to WEG and that’s actually the size we needed.
yeah not many
I ended up with an extra large in my volunteer uniform. They were kind of pushing the uniforms in less popular sizes by the end. Oh well, my jacket will fit nicely over a sweater and turtle neck.

The Ariat tent (near the Breyers Tent) but there was also an Ariat Tent that looked to just have boots of every kind along with Laptops where you could order online. It was not BofB or Bob Micklers it definitely was all Ariat gear. Small too and you could barely move around. There was two boxes of them which people were rummaging through in the hopes of finding a S, L or M. Any WEG clothing left was pretty much XXL or XS. Pickins were slim.
P.S. Google Ariat WEG Vechta jacket and maybe something will show up. Most of the website retailers were sold out on WEG wear but you might get a hit for XXL…maybe on E-Bay.
I tried to buy one jacket - sold out already on day 2 ! also the merchandise stuff, what I wanted sold out second day…

Considering this for Alltech employees and volunteers only I don’t think they meant for you to post this information online…
There was a statement at the bottom of the email that said ‘share this with your friends’.
I’m guessing many people have a friend who either volunteered or is an Alltech employee who would consider helping them out if they have a burning desire for WEG memorabilia.
I went to the WEG liquidation sale today…
And wish I’d gone yesterday. They had the nations flags, which all the cool ones were gone by today. Incredible silk screened huge photos of jumpers and driving which would have been neat if you had a big enough wall. DH pointed out AFTER I got home that I could have put it on the short wall of the indoor.
Was there left over competition wear??? Oh, Hell, Yeah. Dozens and dozens of boxes of every size and color. Polos and hats, $5 each. Jackets $10 each. Enough left over for a small distressed country.
I bought 4 very very heavy wrought iron chairs from behind the hospitality tent for $100, the wind Will Not blow these puppies over.
But, the absolute BEST BUY EVER??? I got a nearly brand–spanking new, heavy duty Future Fork pitchfork with actual WEG horse poo on it, with WEG on the handle for … six dollars! And six packs of xtra large paperclips for a buck.
It was a good day Tater.
I went to the WEG sale and bought some odds & ends ($31 worth).
I worked at the warehouse before WEG handing out unis and, believe it or not, I was surprised by how little remained of the uniforms. You have to remember that before WEG THE WHOLE WAREHOUSE was filled with uniforms.
Most of what was left over were fancy plates & silverware from the $300 dinners. KHP may buy some, if not all, of the plates & silverware for the Farmhouse.
