All the Gold-Hunter Hall of Fame

There is a lovely article about All the Gold being in the Hunter Hall of Fame in the USFJA In Stride magazine this issue. Congrats to All the Gold and Billie Steffe. We are proud to have a 5 year old stallion by All the Gold.

Thanks for the Gold (Hank) is showing in the pre-greens in Zone 7 and his first get will hit the ground in 2013. Can’t wait to see those babies!

That’s funny that you mentioned your Thanks For The Gold, as I just was reading the Zone 7 standings yesterday and remembered that he had (I think) shown in hunter breeding! Good for you. A friend’s sister works for Billie and we were all so sad when he passed away. Celtic Gold is another good son and is doing very well in the high Pregreens.

We did show in Hunter Breeding with him, Diane. Yes, I know Billie was devastated when he passed away. She has been very kind and emailed me about our boy on several occasions.

My all time favorite horse I owned was ALL ABOUT ME by All The Gold out of a TB mare. He was 17.2 and smart, talented, and an awesome jumper… and he was gray!

All The Gold is special and I an glad to see Ellen carrying on with his legacy.

Pictures, Bill??

And here he is!

I am a pony person, but I used to hack an All the Gold baby for my trainer as a teenager and I still remember him as being one of the nicest horses I ever had the privilege to sit on. Wish I could remember his show name. We just called him Goldie.

The barn name for All the Gold was Goldie as well…

Had an All the Gold broodmare last year and her foal is hands down one of the best minded babies I’ve ever seen. Her name was Mirror Image because she looked just like her papa

We have Celtic Gold, who is a phenomenal horse in the ring, and one of the kindest horses I have had the pleasure of caring for. And I have taken care of a few. We also have Hint of Gold, by ATG out of a TB mare who is wonderful as well. He will eventually be his owner’s A/A hunter.

Ellen, your boy “Thanks for the Gold” is lovely and had some beautiful rounds at Tyler last week.

Thanks tons…we are proud of him. It has been a fun experience…breeding him, raising him, training and now campaigning as a stallion. Can’t wait to see the first babies in 2013.
