All the Gold Stallion

Fact or Fiction?

I heard from my local tack store that All the Gold, who sadly passed away a few years ago, now had frozen semen that was being sold. I have looked all over to find out more information, and no such luck. I figured if anyone knew anything about it, someone here would know.

Thank you!

Try Billie Steffe of Craighead Farm in Ohio. Not sure if she’s still the owner of the farm, but she owned All the Gold.

I highly doubt it. We had two of the last two All the Gold foals that were bred in 2007 and 2008 and she didn’t say anything about frozen semen. They were offering very limited breedings to him at that point and retired him soon after. We are standing a stallion by him now. Our stallion, Thanks for the Gold, is six and his first get are coming this year.

Billie Steffe does still own the farm…she loved that stallion and was devastated by his passing.

Attached are some are photos of our Thanks for the Gold (AKA Hank).

That is weird…I had that all filled out…thanks for pointing that out to me…I will fix that.

We also have an intact son, Celtic Gold, who is seven this year and concentrating on his performance career before he is offered at stud. So far, he is fantastic.

If Billie has any frozen, she is probably keeping it for herself.

The first get from Thanks for the Gold. Grande…a colt

Thank you, Mckenna!!!

not to hijack this, but is there any video footage of All the Gold? He was such a popular hunter stallion and his babies are so nice, I would love to see some.

I’ve looked at their site, thanks for making me want all their sale horses I can’t afford, AGAIN.

you guys will be able to search better with her name correct. Billie Steffee.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Steffee and working with some of Goldie’s babies over the last year.

call the farm - Billies number on the website as is the trainer, Carol Lewis. They will tell you for sure if it is fact or fiction… Though I’m guessing its fiction. They retired him at 26 and that was 2008. Hard to imagine there’d be much sitting around in a freezer by now…
