Allyn McCracken a founder of BWP/NAD stateside. Longtime breeder at her beautiful Bannockburn Farm in south central IN Bannockburn Farm LLC (bannockburnsporthorses.com), longstanding member of the New Britton Hunt that ran near her farm and a supporter of the Trader’s Point Horse Show in Zionsville IN.

ETA I forgot about New Britton Hunt - there were two Hunt Clubs in the Indy area and New Britton hunted off Patricksburg Rd west of Spencer IN. A gorgeous lay of land as you can see in the farm photo.

Allyn was a kind women and a prolific and compassionate breeder who will certainly be missed amongst the breeding community. She created some lovely combinations and did right by her horses. I appreciate her support of TPH when I rode with them. May she rest in peace.

She will be missed dearly. I have had the pleasure of owning 5 horses from her breeding program, including my stallion, we wouldn’t be where we are in competition without her. She was also a founder of the BWP North America. I, as well as many others will miss her knowledge and quality she brought to the American market.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this farm located on a winding gravel road in the middle of rolling hills and woods. And the quality of the horses born here. The gentility of the lunches at the inspections. The quiet assembly of local horse folks.
