Anyone else having trouble getting on to the live feed? I can watch on iPad. But my the feed on my computer just keeps buffering over and over before I even get the opening ad. I’m running google Chrome and have the latest adobe flash player.

I can watch the archives no problem, just not live! any suggestions? oh, I also cleaned out my temp files.

Looking at your prize list there is no mention of prize money. At The National this week if you are 8th in one pro class with 8 horses in it you already made your stall money back. They give away huge sums of money in the hunter classes at this show. Its gotta come from somewhere![/QUOTE]

The prize money at the Royal is quite good for a Saddlebred show. Most ASB shows don’t offer ANY prize money at all, and if they do, it’s not much. Even the open classes feature maybe a $250 purse divided up between all ribbon winners. I don’t know how to compare that to the H/J shows - is money offered at every level at every show (Amateurs? Trainers? Greens?) or just at the big national shows in the big rounds with jump offs and sponsors?

At the Royal, second only to the World’s Championships in terms of quality and prize money offered, the 5 Gaited Open Championship, the prize money is $50,000 and it costs $3000 to enter. That $50k is divided up between the ribbon winners. But in the amateur pleasure divisions such as the Adult Show Pleasure Championship, the prize money is much less (i.e. $10,000 purse divided up among the ribbon winners with an entry fee of $700). Qualifiers have even smaller purses and entry fees, and some have no prize money.

Keep in mind, breed shows are much smaller in scale and have far fewer corporate sponsors (if any). Most sponsors are individual people or the companies owned by exhibitors - not brands like Visa or Pepsi. And there are a lot less horses in the country and a lot less exhibitors in sheer number when you compare the Saddlebred market to H/J.

You might have disable your ad blocker. Or someone above suggested an incognito window and it works.

I know I’m nuts, but does anyone else think it looks like they’re jumping the last fence backwards? It must be a true vertical, but it sure looks odd to me!

You rock! that did it! I had AdBlock running. Thanks!

I’m so glad you said that, because I’ve thought the same thing. I wonder what it looks like riding up to it. From the side, my lousy depth perception and I think it’s got a lot more dimension to it than it actually has!

Can anyone see what the Belgian rider is wearing that is waving around on his neck? Not a tie, but can’t figure out what it is!

Love Pumped Up Kicks! Gorgeous color!

I agree! Love all the dapples  Lillie is just amazing.

go lillie!

Probably FEI credentials for getting in and out of the FEI area…it must have been under there somewhere…

Ouch. Thats not fun.

The incognito window worked for me! First time I’ve been able to see the Alltech feed.

Could somebody tell me how or why that worked? Just so I know for next time? Thanks.

Not sure why it works really – It doesn’t track your browsing, deletes cookies, but really not sure why it works for this purpose.

Is everyone seeing the same ads over and over?

I don’t want to hear about keeping my horse’s insides healthy, I want to see the last 5 in the jumpoff!
