Altech National Horse Show

Sydney only did Megan’s horse yesterday, didn’t she? Megan rode it this morning?

Sydney just did him in the stake.

It wasn’t Gabriel, it was It’s Rooney. You don’t see him in the results because he was removed.
I think what Road Apples was trying to say was that she had mistaken the horse for Gabriel because of the delay in the feed vs. the announcement of the numbers the first times they jogged.

Oh sorry, the first one she noted was Summerplace’s number wasn’t it?

Sorry, I posted before I got to finish that as a question…Did Syd do it this morning too? I didn’t watch.

Didn’t see the first class this morning either. but someone said she was in the maclay warmup. odd.

I’m sure many of the younger jrs are glad that this is probably Tori’s last show in the youngers…!
Ditto for Maddie Darst, assuming she is the same age. The youngers might have a send off party for them.

Aww. Look at Lyle go. He looks great! Bless him.

I saw him go in the greens with Leslie Steele. In person, many years before anybody ever dreamed of a live feed so you could watch the whole show from your couch at home. That was a long time ago.

According to USEF, he was born in 1993.

And Lyle just won the stake! He’s still got it. Good boy.

And champion as well! And grand champion small junior for the second year in a row! Go, Lyle!

No, the 1st one I said was Gabriel…I knew it was a bay and not a gray then when I went back and did my 1, 2. 3’s I corrected myself and apologized to Gabriel. It was #458, It’s Rooney who was eliminated.

Oh…off topic… but remember tonight it’s fall back time…set your clocks bac an hour.

Ok, who is picking the music today?!? Quite a variety pack.

Sorry, I read the first number you posted as 426, but maybe I didn’t see it right. That one was Summer Place (obviously a different looking horse than the other two  ) I thought maybe you thought that one looked off too.

Anyone else think Brodeur’s very low placings this week seem odd? The judges seem to be very specific about the horses they prefer. In a class with such nice horses I guess that’s always the case though

I didn’t think he was jumping very well – fell out of the air a few times. Jumped much better at HB (Just my opinion.)
