Question…do they use different jump cups in the Hunters than they do in the Jumpers? It seems like the Hunters can give a good hard knock on the rails and they don’t fall but if it was in a Jumper class it probably would have gone down. Is this my imagination?

Some jumper jumps are on flat cups, but not all. Hunter jumps are always in a half-round cup though.

I believe they sometimes use deeper cups and/or heavier rails, depending on the show.
Can’t believe Hunter Holloway is that tall on a large junior. I think she’s something like 6’+ at 15 years old.

And the fact that last year she was fitting on medium ponies
Oh naughty pony! I think that was Taylor Sutton? Kudos for her for riding that out. Definitely had to work for it!
Is anyone else’s feed buffering and pausing again? Mine was working well this morning, but is now locking up.
I am watching through the youtube link and no buffering.

Ditto for me on YouTube. It’s working well. Knock wood!
Thanks! I swapped to Youtube.
And Lyle was grand champion junior hunter! I love how the announcer pointed out that the horse is older than the rider.
can you post the youtube link? sorry if someone already did…
Please tell me again what time the finals start tomorrow. Is it 7:00 am EDT? I am on the west coast, and the kid I’m following rides 32nd. I don’t want to miss his round.

Starts at 7:00 AM Eastern, including the time change. So just over 15 hours from now. Tick tock.
7am EST, clocks go back tonite. Figure about 25 trips an hour, your friend should go between 5am and 5:30am Pacific time. They stay on schedule with these things unless somebody creams an oxer, even then they can rebuild in less then 5 minutes or so.
If you miss it and you want to find a specific trip, you can search for it on the USEF Network Youtube channel by horse name or rider name. They usually get everything posted within a day or two. It’s great.
Is USEF posting all the trips again as they did at Harrisburg?

I don’t know if they got all the trips during the week. I believe they will post all the trips they have from today and tomorrow.
Lots of issues with the last jump!
Someone asked on the youtube stream and they said they will have individual rounds/classes from today and tomorrow available
