Well, my dog has vomited the last few times we tried to get her to take Simparica for fleas & ticks. What do you use? I had my previous dog on Bravecto. She gets her heartworm preventative in the injectable form, so she only needs flea & tick control.
I’ve used a seresto collar for years and have been very happy with it.

My Tibbie couldn’t tolerate Simparica Trio either. She now gets Credelio for fleas/ticks (her heartworm preventative is Interceptor).
Her veterinarian says that the majority of her patients are on the ST, but that some dogs just can’t tolerate it.

I will look at both. I haven’t heard of Credelio before. Yes, I tried Simparica three months in a row. At first, I thought it was a fluke. Then the next two months she did the same. So now I cannot use it. This is also the one that my dog didn’t eat and my cat did. 
We lost our kitty because of it. I’m still kicking myself that I didn’t catch it.

I understand. I’ve had tons of dogs and there have been accidents and tragedies with some of them. Some were unavoidable , some weren’t but I didn’t know until
After it was over and I still beat myself up. Try not to do that .

I have been using NexGard for years while living in Fl and in now Pa.
Both of my two are on this year round.
