Miki’s last three races were at 1:47 flat, world record speed for 5/8 track. On a 7/8 track expected faster time.

Depends on on the track and the horse. We have a horse that has a time (1:53) on the very fast half at Saratoga and he’s won in at Vernon, a fast7/8s in the same time. He’s nowhere near as fast at our home track a shitty 5/8 with a bad first turn off the start. He was second on Sunday going in 56. Lots to take into consideration.

Nice horse, and I will be sad to see him retire. It will be interesting to see how the aged pacers shake out next year. Freaky Feet Pete is sidelined w/ injury (http://xwebapp.ustrotting.com/absolutenm/templates/article.aspx?articleid=71854&zoneid=63). Will miss him on the track for sure. I hope he can pass some of his abilities to his offspring.
Yes, I can see where the aged pacers may be an interesting division next year (especially since I know only a few of them, ABM being one
