Am I just sensitive?

The guy down the road in KY drags them out onto the public road, where the dead stock truck will collect them. I’ve never seen more than one at a time.

As far as animals dying it was the talk of the barn when a horse had a guttural pouch infection and bled out right in the barn aisle surrounded by the afternoon crowd. Iirc the vet was there or had just been there. They die and it’s not always neat. My ASB trainer surprised the heck out of my hubby, iirc he told me the tractor and FEL came around the corner, horse legs waving.

Even the old guy hubby dragged him all trussed up to the burial site. No sheets or anything.
I said good bye there. For a long time the newly covered grave and tractor were on Google earth, thank god for an hour!
