Hopefully there will be no lag time. Old horse is 19 and still doing well. Needs more maintenance and care than in the past but I will continue to ride him as long as he can. However, it’s become obvious he needs to slow down. He owes me nothing. We’ve had a long and wonderful relationship but at the first show this year he showed me he needs a lighter schedule.

He looks a lot like my super horse did at that age. Mine is 25 this year and has been the absolute best horse for me.

Well, he’s finally here and I’ve seen him in person. He is SO chill!
It was a struggle to get him here. Not many loads coming from Nebraska to Ny-LOl Equine Exprezz got him from Nebraska to Indiana and my trainer went and got him and brought him to NY. A yearling who had never been off the farm got on and off two trailers (sometimes in the dark!) and stayed overnight at the layover like he’d been doing it all his life!
He had turnout today-happily munching hay and hanging out. Curried, brushed and fly sprayed when he came in.
