American-bred Peterbilt at WEG

The 10-year-old American-bred stallion Peterbilt (Liocalyon-Jeribos, by Concorde) will be representing New Zealand show jumping at WEG. Peterbilt was bred by Butch and Lu Thomas, and ridden by Guy Thomas. Peterbilt was the winner of the International Jumper Futurity at 4, and YJC Western League Finals at 5, 6 and placed 2nd at 7. His sire Lio Calyon stands at Wild Turkey Farm.

That’s great news!:yes::yes:

I have known Butch and Lou and long time - and Guy when he was, err, little! I bought a jumper from them - a big NZ TB

I can’t wait to see the pair!!!

And there is a 2nd horse by Lio Caylon in the NZ team…Katie McVeans horse is also by him!

That’s great news! Is the second one NZ-bred? I vaguely remember Lu telling me something about shipping semen.
