American Grand National

The (US) Grand National G1, $350k, was run today at Farhills in NJ.
Last year’s 3rd, Rawnaq, was the winner, this time with Ruby Walsh in the irons. Walsh was flown to deputise for the injured Jack Doyle.

In riding the winner of his first American Grand National, Walsh added to international list of Grand Nationals he has won… Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Australian, Japanese, and of course the big one at Aintree.

Ruby Walsh looks like Scott Stewart over a fence. Flawless.
Really excellent racing and the live stream was awesome. Neat commercials - with NSA would plaster that ‘Steeplechasing - First second career’ piece at tracks from Golden Gate to Suffolk. Clever, catchy and oh-so-true!
