Help! Do you have experience with elevated AMH and suspected Granulose? Ultrasound not conclusive, AMH elevated and noted change in behavior. Aggression, extreme girthiness, crabby in general. Did you remove ovary and what was the recovery like? Change in behavior?
Yes. AMH was at 9.1 (range .1-6.9). Ultrasound showed “something that could be a tumor but maybe not.” By the time that we did the bloodwork and scheduled the ultrasound (done by my regular DVM who doesn’t do much repro work), symptoms had improved so I didn’t elect to haul her to a hospital for a more accurate ultrasound/ovary removal. This is a quirky horse so I was trying to rule out hormonal issues (on a long list of ideas about why she’s quirky).
