I’m a little nervous about the T closures in front and the lack of adjustability. Anyone successfully put one of a moderately withered/shouldered TB? Dover has them on sale and with the way my boy is destroying blankets this season…
Can’t speak to the Amigo Mio, but my TB is very broad through the chest and shoulders, and he is in his third year of wearing an Amigo Bravo. The front closures have never been a problem.
I don’t have the Mios, but all of my giant-withered horses (TB and WB) are in the Amigo Bravo 12s. The reason is because my big jumper won a bunch of other Amigo sheets and blankets through the show season and I decided I liked how they fit so much that I moved everyone into them. Love the t-buckles in front and love the lacking back leg straps even more. Haven’t had any problems with the lack of adjustability…they seem to fit a decent range.
My boy is a 78-80in (depending ratio of work:round bale access). Have y’all found the sizes are general true? Can’t decide whether to size up or down.
It’s a little tight on my mom’s draft cross, but all the TB’s fit great in the amigo’s, mio’s included

Mine’s a true 80 in American sizing, and he wears the 78 Amigo Insulator stable blanket, and his Amigo Bravo 12 turnout is the 81 as it will be layered. I think yours will be fine in the 78 for both as he sounds just a bit smaller than mine.
