Ammy friendly stallion suggestions (for event horse)

Concerto Grosso just got approved and licensed by the RPSI this week. The inspector raved about his bloodlines exclaiming that his TB grandsire, Koenigspark, was an exceptional stallion, but underused by the Holsteiner breeders because he had too much chrome. CG produces super-friendly babies that have a work ethic even out of difficult mares. CG is very fertile, so mare owners spend less getting their mares pregnant. One of his sons, Counterpoint, easily ran his Amy Owner around a CCI** this year.

Why own a horse that isn’t fun and easy to compete?

Unfortunately, the OP (me) decided to skip breeding last year, and this year. I had a baby last summer, and we decided we were too busy with the new human baby to have any equine babies this year.

My first choice would have been A Fine Romance (now pensioned), and Upton Deli Circus (now deceased).

Will let you know if we breed next year, and what we decide!

I do have a limited amount of frozen semen if you think you might be interested in the future.

Thank you! He is certainly keeping us busy!

I will likely take you up on the frozen semen…SOOOOO tempting! Hey, its already frozen…Not a huge pressure to use it right away.
