I am overwhelmed by the responses. I did not expect this many people to actually read and comment, thank you all SO much for taking the time to do so! Truly. The fact that so many of you can relate on some level makes me feel a whole lot better about this. I need some time to re-read the comments and digest them as there are a lot of great ideas and perspectives that I had not considered.
To those that have commented that it is not a matter of ‘either or’ and that I need to address my FOMO … you nailed it. This is so true, on so many levels and it has shown up in my life in different areas. I do need to look into this and work through it. I need to remind myself that the grass isn’t greener on the other side, the grass is greenest where it is watered.
