Another cat topic....ok so it's not a horse

This one is really an amazing story. Please read it before you open the picture.

Recently, 3 hikers were walking in the wilderness of northern Alberta. The day was nice, the sun shining and everyone was in generally good spirits.

SUDDENLY, from out of nowhere they were viciously attacked by a ferocious mountain cat which struck with the speed of lightning, slashing and devouring the three unwary hikers.

Some time later, game wardens stumbled across the grisly scene and noticed that one of the hikers had managed to snap a picture of the beast
before being killed. They quickly brought the camera back to the lab and had the film developed so they could get an idea of what they were dealing with…to this day, the picture haunts them to the bone.

Uuuummmmmmm… Whoever snapped that adorable pic should be given some sort of Prize!! What an awesome shot!
Buuut… as an Albertan who deals with the ‘real’ ferocious cats every time she rides or works at her ‘home’ barn, I’m not too forgiving on the story part of it… never thought I would ‘diss’ a funny post… but since I’ve actually personally been exposed to the threat, and trust me, it is a big threat here, you might think of reworking it! I know it seems pretty remote to many people, but those who live in any mountain state or province know the dangers! Not long ago there was a mother and two children killed by a cat while horseback riding… I guess it’s still pretty fresh in my mind.
But… since I’m not into dissing fun posts, I’ll tell you a fun real cat story…

My friend went outo her back deck where she heard her dogs (a greyhound and an irish wolfhound) howling and barking and going great guns. She can’t figure out what they’re up to now! She walks onto the deck and figures out they are basically ‘barking up a tree’… so looking up the tree she sees…yep… a huge (I mean, they weigh about 500 #) Mountain Lion!!! He’s up there snarling and hissing and spitting- the dogs had treed this cat on her back deck!! Can you imagine?!

My horsie is awesome!!!
