I wish there was a way to get notifications for new videos posted on this thread because I don’t want to miss the inaugural Bo ride!!!

At the bottom of under the share button, you can set the notifications to “watching” and get notifications about any new posts. There aren’t a lot so the video won’t get lost.

Isn’t it lovely that he feels well enough to do that. :two_hearts:

Web site did it to me again, posted on a different thread that I started replying to, sorry! :unamused:

I take credit for Bo’s escape, and I apologize. I am the one who told him to go on with his bad self the other day.

I love that Mr. Picky was found in your front garden, choosing which plant he might like best to eat.

He is kind of hilariously entitled, isn’t he!

Perfect, right?

weeds, those are weeds :joy: I’m a neglectful gardener right now. There was very little landscaping when we moved in last summer and I haven’t gotten around to planting things (or pulling weeds).

No ride today, folks. It is 82 but windy as heck and I had a soccer game this AM and then had to do some mowing. I’m still hoping for ride time tomorrow!

I love that video. Go Bo! He gives us hope.

Right… choosing which plant he might like.

Did he eat any of them? That’s what we really want to know.

One woman’s weeds are a horse’s buffet :sunglasses:

My WB would eat thistle, spiky leaves & all :astonished:

There’s got to be a reason my girls come in from their field with their forelocks full of burdocks when they could be eating nice grass instead!

Nope. He grabbed a mouthful of grass at one point (gummed it up and then flung it back out in my direction) but he was more intent on doing some sightseeing than eating. And with his discerning palate, I wouldn’t be surprised if eating weeds is beneath him

He’s recently taken to tipping over his 15gal water tub whenever it gets close to half full - presumably when he feels the water is too ‘dirty’ from all the food he drops in it, even though I dump and rinse it daily.

I’m still hoping to get that ride in today, but I woke up with a killer tension headache that I need to get rid of first. Stay tuned!

Riding is the best tension reliever. Just sayin…

OK! Sorry it’s so late.

So, the very first ride. Woohoo! It was still windy. Everyone survived anyway. We had to spend 15 minutes or so knocking off the rust before I got over to the field where I had the Pivo set up to get these videos. He was a bit balky about going forward initially, and eventually got a little light in the arse about it :innocent:

Here’s the first few minutes of the ride once I was able to get him going in the forward direction. Please forgive my very active legs (and all my other position flaws :joy: I love to hunch!), the ‘fluffing’ and bumping with my leg was the only thing he really responded to. He rides a little bit like a green baby but I think he’s just really rusty. We did not attempt to canter, I want a better forward response before we go there. Overall he was mostly a very good boy, no concerns with working away from his friends or being in the open field alone.

(sidenote: I can see I am distinctly sitting off to the left/collapsing right in this vid and I don’t usually have that problem on Elmo, going to investigate further to see if it’s me/him/saddle…)

And for funsies, a clip a few minutes later when he said he wanted to be done working now, kthx. I convinced him to trot off twice more after that and called it a day.

WHAT a GOOD BOY! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Forgive me asking, but why no work to the left?

His Nope made me
My TWH signals Done! by grunting.
Which escalates to his patented Telespook, that I can easily disrupt, because he grunts.
Vicious Circle :smirk:
Before I learned what the grunt meant:
