Okay… I’m taking the plunge and investing in a PS of Sweden High Jump Revolution. I have a Micklem bridle and my pony LOVES it. So thus the reasoning behind my purchasing the PS of Sweden. I need folks to talk to me about sizing. I have contacted PS of Sweden sent them measurements, and they recommended the full size, here is what makes me nervous, my pony always wears cob sized. He’s only 13.3, and I’m worried the bridle will be too big. So here I sit, looking for others stories of sizing with their bridles, and what you recommend.
They do run small. I bought the full for my mare but it was too small. It fit my little guy who usually wears a cob. Love the bridle.
They run SMALL. My holsteiner has a petite head and it barely fits. Otherwise, I LOVE IT.
I wear a cob on my 16.2 fine TB mare. I don’t think the PS bridles in cob will fit a pony. Sorry.
I have several of their bridles. If you order directly from PS of Sweden they are fantastic about switching out nosebands, etc to find the perfect fit for your horse. My horse loves the Jump Off but has a long narrow face. She wears a cob noseband, cob cheek pieces, and horse crown and browband. I originally ordered the cob and they were great about looking at photos of it on her and helping me find the perfect fit. Just a word of warning the different styles fit different types of faces, I bought a Flying change deluxe and it was lovely but I couldn’t get the noseband to fit her even in the pony size. They were able to switch it out for a different style. She wears a horse size nunn finer figure 8 with cob cheek pieces and crown if that helps you with sizing.
