Adding a post for all the bloodline researchers out there.
I have a 5yo Pure Prize son out of Rubiano mare that looks just like this one. Same leggy type with long pasterns, a bit of the bench knees, and the look of eagles.
The upsides: Beautiful mover. Athletic. Decorates my pasture gorgeously.
The downsides: Raging temper. Miserable to ride. Dislikes people, other horses, and other animals.
I am convinced this is not a medical or handling issue, but a genetic one.
