Antares customer service

Does anyone know how to get a hold of a rep with Antares? I bought a custom saddle several years ago, and it’s overdue for a refitting. I emailed and left a voicemail with HQ. All I got in response was a text message from “zach@antaressaddle.com” asking when I would like to be seen for a new saddle consult as he would be in my area in a few weeks. I clarified that what I needed was a saddle refitting, and he never responded. I followed up again asking him to call me, and nada. So I guess if you ALREADY bought a 4k saddle from them, they are no longer interested.

If you have a rep phone number (or Thierry’s, the owner) I would be grateful.

The reps typically only work within their own areas. So if Zach is the rep for your area, you might be stuck.

Where are you? I know the contact for the rep for Western Canada but that won’t help you if you’re in the states.

You may want to look into having an independent saddle fitter help you. I was never able to get an Antares rep to show up for anything except the prospect of a new saddle sale.

I’m in NC, although my horse is in Aiken for the next month. But thank you

Lucassb, was an independent saddle fitter able to work with your saddle? With the way Antares saddles are constructed I thought it had to be sent off to get the panels adjusted.

I’ve emailed the rep from Ontario Dave Marion, who’s email I got straight from the Antares website, and never received a response. Not exactly impressed with that, a saddle isn’t exactly a small chunk of change so if they don’t want my money I guess I’ll be taking it elsewhere!

Good update - I got in touch with Thierry, the owner, and I think he lit a fire under the rep. We’re working on a time for him to come out.

What kind of refitting exactly do you want them to do? Is yours wool flocked?

In my case I just needed the flocking adjusted, which appeared to be easy for the independent person to do.

I am really surprised that you didn’t receive a response from David. He normally responds really quickly and I am not at a high end barn where he sells tons of saddles.

Yeah, kinda crummy. I emailed him with my location, and maybe he figures I’m too far away to bother with? Not sure.

Did you try calling, in case your e-mail went into a spam folder? We are a couple hours north of the GTA and he comes to the farm.

Yeah that surprises me too, I contacted David last summer–during Pan Am! He had never been to my barn before, we are not high end, and I just wanted one saddle for myself.

I emailed a bunch of high-end saddle reps on the same day, and he is the only one that answered, and he got back to me within a day. Came out a week later, was really happy with the fitting experience.

Now, after I ordered, dealing with the office got a bit frustrating, but in the end I got my saddle and I love it.
