Antares or CWD Huner Bridle?

I have been coveting the Antares hunter bridle and when I am finally ready to buy they are sold out everywhere in size2!

I was given a discount code to get the CWD hunter bridle for the same price as the Antares which looks very similar but I haven’t seen it in person.

Any thoughts on these two specific bridles?

I owned both of them and the Antares leather was far superior IMO. My CWD was also a very beautiful bridle though, but it came as a very dark color with slightly lighter padding. I’m not sure that color is still available because all of the others I saw were much lighter and would have to be oiled to darken sufficiently.

Everything about the Antares is quality, including the hardware although mine was a traditional crown, this was long before the comfort crown or anatomical crowns were created. I have to admit I do not like the current crown that is used on the Antares bridle.

I bought an Antares Origin bridle a couple of years ago at a show. On sale. Once I touched it I bought it. The leather is really that nice. The only negative is the keeper on the noseband is so tight, the excess comes out as the horse goes around.
