Antibiotic Sinus Rinse

I went to my GP yesterday for a follow up on stomach issues (since resolved) and - of course - he said I have yet another sinus infection. I don’t even know when I get them any more I guess. Anyhow, he wanted me to try an antibiotic sinus rinse. While it smells and looks like listerine, it is amazing! I used it last night and felt better within an hour. Used it again this morning & feel pretty darned good. Just thought I’d pass this along to those others who have chronic sinus problems.

need a workup!

Maybe it’s time to go see an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist instead. And remember chronic sinus problems always have a possibly preventable cause that needs to be investigated. The most common cause is allergies. You may need chronic antihistamine use to prevent them. See an Allergy specialist and get tested to see what it is you are allergic to.

Been there, done that!!

I am wondering if this forum is just webMD for people that just happen to ride horses. So little of this actually has to do with anything riding related…

FrenchFry, Please

Hi FrenchFry,

You asked about the purpose of the forum. If you read the the directives stickies at the top of the column, you will have a better understanding of why this forum exists.

I appreciate that you have helped other riders with your thoughts on the insulin pump issue. You have made a difference. Thank you!

This thread is a later conversation in a series about riding with breathing problems. Many of us know each other from previous postings, so we pick up the conversation.

I hope that you will continue to post here. You have more knowledge in some areas and you can encourage others, giving them hope.

Thank you again,
Robin Hirst
