I have an Exchange Rate / Dances with Daggers, 5 year old mare and she is literally THE BEST! Just wondering if there are any others with the same sire or Dam, and wondering how awesome they are! We may need to start a support group or a mutual admiration society!!
I don’t have an Exchange Rate baby.
I did know him near the end of his life. He was a cool old dude. Very well mannered and chill about things.
I have heard he had a reputation for being difficult in his younger years.
If I remember correctly, your mare was his last crop.

@No1 thank you for chiming in, my mare is Nikkei Exchange and I guess she would be in his last crop. That makes sense. Funny you should mention that her Sire was a handful when he was younger, Nikkei was bratty, VERY bratty a year ago when I purchased her and the vet at Hagyard who did her PPE warned me about her manners, but she learned quickly and is about as chill a horse as I have ever known, particularly for a youngster. We have a clinic with Doug Payne next week. We are very excited!
I have had the absolute pleasure of working with two different Exchange Rate babies. Both were impeccably smart and talented athletes. Unfortunately they have both passed away (different circumstances) and are very missed. Enjoy your Exchange Rate, they are special horses!
