Any Experience? Colored TB Stallions (in particular Arctic Blue & Painting Freedom)

This thread just reminded me I haven’t heard back re: his brown test. I called them and his hairs were never received. I’ll redo that and update his color genetic profile as soon as I do. I’m so excited to see what he produces as well as seeing how he does out in the show world. I also can’t wait to get one particular mare bred for someone wanting a funky colored TB to race. lol (she was booked for 2013 but when Gatsby got hurt, with the JC l/c requirements …we couldn’t get her bred).

But I digress as I’m just dreaming …

THATS it! Snowbound Paisley! Thanks :)
Sadly deceased :frowning:

Ive met a few of his offspring - great temperament, but all over the map type-wise.

We are standing a black/white Tobiano Oldenberg stallion at our farm.
Check us out at Red Pegasus Ranch. The stallions name is Relentless. We have had 4 foals out of our stallion with only one being solid

Sadly deceased

he is not a TB or Appdx so I’m sure he doesn’t fit her program. Foals are by stallions and out of mares…

I would just like to give you kudos for bringing along a horse this way! BAREFOOT, HAPPY and WITHOUT UNNECCESSARY HARDWARE/FITTINGS!!! I was so impressed with the sans-cavesson, mild snaffle, no running martingale or breastplate…the general lack of all the “uniform strappings” often seen in the competition world. This is a testament to a good mind, well-trained, not-overfaced, well-fitting tack (saddle stays in place) and good sound hooves (barefoot)

This goes a long way in my world. How refreshing!

Hello there.

I am actually Arctic Blue’s trainer. I started him under saddle and have brought him along. He is a lovely horse, very striking in person, with an A+ personality. He’s very sweet and has been a pleasure to work with. He, so far, has seemed to gives height to his babies. One of his two year olds is still on property, and he is probably pushing 16.1 at the moment. Blue has great bone and feet, he is still going barefoot and we’ve been showing and jumping him 3’6"-3’9" at the moment (showing at 3’3" to gain confidence). He’s got a truly fantastic front end as well, very tight with his knees

Anything you’d like to know about him, please go ahead and ask. Either I can answer it or can get you in touch with his owners.
^^^ Agree 100% Fancy That!

Blue is being presented this weekend at the RPSI inspection in their area. We wish him all the best and look forward to seeing pictures of him at the inspection

Why thank you Fancy. Hes actually going in a Nathe now, still barefoot, he’s got great feet. I can ride him out, ride him with mares, he loves people, just an all around nice horse. He was inspected and approved for RPSI Book II, eligible Book I if we get his performance requirements or if he goes for testing.

Just another comment on Blue. Spoke with Jen - his owner - on the weekend and of course she was thrilled with how he was at the inspection but the neat thing was - she said they were offered a stall to put him in while he was waiting his turn, but made the decision to just stay with the protocol he knew best when he was off property. Which was to tie him to the side of the trailer and let him eat hay while horses were milling around and coming and going all around him

Just loved hearing that! If a young stallion is blase about stuff like that, it speaks volumes about their overall temperament and how they have been raised and brought along

Congrats once again!
