I have on on trial, so far I really like it. My horse seems really happy. It would be our trail/endurance saddle. It’s used, but seems to be in good condition. The horse seems happy enough with it.
Can anybody give me some experiences? What do they sell for new?

I think I paid $400 new. Action Rider Tack had a sale last week, for $200, but they sold out pretty fast, at least w/ the larger size. I wish I had bought one, but I just added a used Barefoot.
I love the adjustable stirrup plate.
My saddle is off being repaired right now. The pommel stitching pulled out. I had a kid (not my kid, lol) riding in it, first time treeless, first time without a horn, and I think he held on a bit too tight. I guess the stitching came untied on one end, causing it to unravel.

I was very unhappy with mine. After about four months the stitching on the right side holding the pommel to the saddle came undone. The seat bunched up in a weird way so I had to use a sheepskin seat cover (I’ve read several complaints about seat bunching), and the padding on the leg flaps was way too thick, unless you have a very sensitive horse you’re going to have a hard time using your leg cues. Sold mine after about nine months.
Oops! Just noticed that you too had the pommel stitching come undone. Trust me, it wasn’t the kid’s fault. I never grabbed the pommel and it still fell apart.

Mine has held up to really hard use for 4-5 years though. I don’t blame the kid - I’m sure it would have happened at some point. I don’t ever hold on, so his death grip just sped up the process. I’ve ridden my saddle a TON - like 3-6 times per week, hours a time, and I haven’t done one thing to take care of it. It’s been wet countless times, and is stored in my stock trailer. While I’m not thrilled it came apart at this point, I don’t see it as a huge problem with the saddle. I am really hoping the repair will work, because I love this saddle.
I did remove much of the stuffing from the flaps, because it bugged me. I don’t have problems with the seat, but I know other riders often get the seat flipped up under them when they mount, and they have to straighten it out.
I own one that I bought used. I cannot seem to get comfortable in it but I have it only as an extra saddle as I usually ride in my Sensation Hybrid. Please be sure to get a proper saddle pad that is specifically made for treeless saddles. Skito is a very good brand. They are expensive but well worth it. The Bandos don’t have any built in gullet so the pad has to provide it. You will pay as much for the skito pad as you are probably going to pay for the saddle but the saddle and pad should be considered 2 parts of one saddling system.
Good point. I use a Haf pad with my Bandos.
I borrowed one for a camping trip one weekend, rode almost twenty miles in it each day. I really liked it and felt comfortable in it.
Know someone else who has one and uses it all the time, both for regular riding and trails. Have heard of no problems with it either.
Completed a 30 mile CTR yesterday in mine and I love it. My Polish Arabian mare is very broad and the saddle fits her well. I also use a HAF pad. Very light to lift as well. Have not had any problems with it. I bought it used.
I use mine with a HAF Pad - have had the set up for 4 years now:) Me & my gelding are very happy with it. Haven’t done a long competition ride yet, but we’ve done conditioning rides and we’re good!
I bought mine used a couple of years ago for my Polish Arabian mare who is quite wide. I use a HAF pad with it as suggested by others. We completed our first 50 mile ride in the saddle a couple of weeks ago and it was great. No issues with it except I wish it weren’t leather…lol. I love biothane tack, hose off and good to go. I use Leather CPR on the saddle and it does nicely.
Been riding in mine for 2 years…over 1000 miles of endurance and CTR with a surpracor pad.
