Any full care boarding in/around Lexington, Kentucky that also has trails?

I’ve boarded my whole life at places without trails, because I prefer full care board where my horse gets checked on, where we can take lessons, and know there’s always a trainer nearby in case someone needs help. For some reason having a full care lesson barn and having trails seem to be mutually exclusive. But I’m sick of it! Lol

Plus, I may be moving to Lex KY soon, so I thought it would be an opportunity to look for a new place… Is there anywhere in the Lex area that has both? Trails and open land to ride on, full care board with farrier and vet scheduling, lessons and a trainer? I’m not competitive anymore and am a pleasure rider now.

Any suggestions?

There aren’t a lot of trails in Lexington. Most farms are closed in with fencing. Haylands (Lucky Dog Eventing) has both but they are usually full.

Do you have your own truck and trailer? Masterson and Shaker Village are both nice places to ride, if you are able to get there. Masterson is pretty much right in Lexington and very near several nice boarding/training facilities. Shaker Village is farther out but worth the haul over.
Feel free to PM me if you do move here. My horse and I love to trail ride and I have my own transportation

I’d suggest posting in the “Central KY Equine Boarding and Review” facebook page, people there will have ideas. I second that Hayland’s has lots of open land, and I’ve seen ads for Elkhorn Springs which has over 300 acres of land. Like asb_own_me said, Masterson and Shaker Village are both lovely places to ride, Shaker Village with way more trails but further from Lexington.
