Looking for a good deal on breeches, I do check ebay occasionally but haven’t seen anything that caught my eye lately. I am looking for a 28L and would really like to by 2-3 pairs a new show pair and a couple for schooling so if you guys know of any sales that would be great!
Have you tried SP’s new Piper breech? Quite a deal for the quality if they fit you well.
Really, it depends on your shape and preferences. I loooooove my Ariat Pro Circuits, which are available at closeout prices at Dover because they are being discontinued. They fit me so well, though–I have two pairs as my show breeches, and I love the fabric. They tend to fit a pear-shaped figure very well.
I have pipers from smartpak & love them. Keep an eye on http://www.tackoftheday.com/ right now (only available for a day!) they have baker breeches for $50! I also got an awesome pair of Romfs that went in my show stack when they came in and put my pro-circuits to shame. LOVELY breeches for $75.
How do the baker breeches run? Shape wise I fit well in the tailored sportsman mid rise without the euro seat. Anyone with that sort of shape try the baker’s?
I have tried the Bakers and found they run small - like at least a full size smaller than I would wear in TS Trophy or SmartPak Pipers (love the Pipers!). I also didn’t love the fabric on the Bakers.
