Any Know Mollie Lee Maslin of Perryman, Md

Wow, how the worm turns. I remember Linda riding for Mollie on Lace. then she graduated from high school and went pro. I always wondered what happened to her, she was such a talented rider.

A google search shows Linda Andrisani is a well respected hunter judge who has a video out, “The Judge’s Eye”. A preview of the video has her speaking and it is indeed the same person. Her video can be seen here:

Mollie Maslin & Little Acres Riding Club
Way back when I rode at her barn, Little Acres, in Perryman, Md. I had thought she’d passed away, but I saw on Google that the place still exists and is breeding Welsh ponies. Anyone out there know about her or her farm?
I just heard from Ann Grier Thompson that Mollie Lee Maslin died yesterday, December 31, 2016 from cancer. She had been battling cancer for awhile and then it spread.

Mollie was always very kind to me. I really looked forward to Saturdays at her barn. Mollie let me have extra time riding, and let kids hang out at the barn to be around the horses and ponies. It was heaven!

Here’s a link to Mollie’s obituary. She was an amazing horsewoman!

I just came across these posts. Let me answer a few of your questions.

Mollie Lee Maslin of Maslin’s Little Acres in Perryman Maryland lost her fight with cancer on New Year’s Eve a year ago.

Chuck Maslin operates Laughing Crab Catering, a very sucessful special events operation with 4 units working throughout the eastern half of the United States. Currently living in Havre de Grace, MD in the home purchased by his Grandparents over a century ago. He and his wife Lori also own Nilsam Properties in Havre de Grace. Lori is an attorney in Philadelphia.

The farm is still in the family, hasn’t had any ponies or horses there in years.

if anyone has more questions, please let me know.
