Any N Ohio/PA folk hunt with Ike?

Mom brought home a horse. She teaches, travels all over Ohio and saw this guy who had fallen on hard times. Bay Thoroughbred, one eye, over 20, hungry but still with class showing through.
A year later, his dapples have dapples and he’s fit and slick as a ribbon.
Among the other questionable history we got is that he hunted “up north,” that he was “the Master’s horse” (uh huh), and that the gal we got him from called him Ike because that was the man’s name who had hunted him.
He’s 16hh, bay blob (no white to speak of), blind in the left eye. Has a tattoo but I cannot make out the letter.
He knows his business, but you have to earn his trust. Hates to have his mane pulled. Somewhere in his background, there was a man he liked - and that’s rare with old TBs, so there might be something to this foxhunting story.
Anybody know him or the human Ike?

Maybe if you changed the title you’d get more responses? I thought you were looking for background on a human . Maybe something like
“Know this horse, Bay 20 y.o., Master’s (Ike?) horse?PA/OH”

No leads to offer but I love a good mystery and hope that you learn some details.

Thanks all - we did it! Within a few hours of starting this thread, a new friend who hunts with Chagrin Falls contacted me. I now know his name, age (20), pedigree (by Native Roman out of a Carry Back mare), past performances (84 starts, 11 wins for $57,353) hunting resume (better than mine, frankly) and who Ike was. What fun!

Dang, hell of tough horse- 84 track starts and then a fox hunting career. Neat!
