Any one in Central Wisconsin? Also an invite

Hello,

I put a post in here about hunting and I have been in contact with various hunts. I am not going to make it to any this year, probably. I am putting an invite out to find a new riding friend or two living in the area, for ride sharing to hunts or to just trail ride.

Also, our dairy farm has over 400 acres of prime land, both fields and woods, and includes a stream. I am looking for anyone in the area that wants to go riding with me, on our land, since I don’t like going out by myself. Also, there is other relative’s land around also, so it is a shame seeing it just "sit here’ and not be ridden on. I realize that here in Wisconsin, everyone seems to have their own land, but I grew up in Dutchess County New York, near Rombout, and 400 acres back there is considered "a lot’.

Please send me a private message if interested. We just have to be respectful of my husband’s crops, and so I am putting this in the hunt forum, to try to connect with like-minded people who are landmans.

Pittsville isn’t too far from me…I’m in Wis. Rapids. I wish there was a hunt close by…I’ve hunted in Ireland and on the west coast with Los Altos and Red Rock…but nothing close enough to central WI.

I may be relocating to the Milwaukee area. Are there nice barns in the area to keep my horse, and how far away would I be from the Illinois hunts? Thanks!

For the other lady who asked about nice stables, I haven’t a clue.

I actually haven’t really found a really nice one yet, …I am keeping my horse at a humble place over the winter that has a small indoor, I would like to find a bigger indoor, actually, but everything is so far.

Irish, there are PLENTY O’ barns in the Milwaukee area and south. THe corridor between Chi and Milw are full of em. Waukesha county as well All tastes, styles and budgets. So dont worry about that at all!
