I’ve wanted to try her supportive riding vest for awhile but with my proportions I’d need to go custom so haven’t made that purchase, they look comfy though!
The ridiculous clothes women wore! I can’t imagine being hampered by so much skirt material. Did women from those eras ride astride?

Even from 18th Century & earlier.
Modern Riding Skirts are less voluminous, but still mire fabric than I’d want to deal with mounting & dismounting
